Mon premier post en Français sur ce blog. Je vais parler un peu de tout, en Français et en Anglais. Les posts en anglais devraient être plus orientés boulot et les posts en français plus loisirs, mais ça reste à voir.

Ce blog n’as pas de titre pour l’instant, et pas d’adresse. Je pensais à un truc comme EricLondon.com, mais l’adresse est déjà prise. Beaucoup de noms de domaines sont déjà réservés, ce qui devient un peu un problème. Je pense m’orienter vers un titre plutôt en anglais qui sonne bien.

Quelques outils peuvent s’avérer utiles pour trouver un nom de domaine comme www.nameboy.com qui génère des noms de domaines aléatoires à partir de mots clé, www.rinkworks.com/namegen qui génère des noms plutôt orientés Fantasy, ou www.bandnamemaker.com/generator qui crée des noms de groupes de musiques. J’en ai trouvé des marrants comme Rotten Bishop ou Bipolar Bamboo.

Here we go for the first post of this blog. I have been looking around for some solutions like the one proposed by Google for instance, but was more interested in more flexible solutions like WordPress, Drupal or Mambo. The interface of WordPress is quit satisfying, and allows in-depth customisation through themes, plugins and hand-coding (solution I would prefer to avoid actually ).

I started to develop from scratches an ArtBlog for some friends, www.ArtBlogCommunity.org, on the purpose of promoting their creations, but felt like reinventing the wheel. The advantage was to develop in the Microsoft Technologies though, as opposed to the free technologies provided by the PHP Group.

I will be talking about different issues here, personal and professional, and well, in two languages. Hours of plain joy for the reader . I intend to sort the posts according to their languages and their topic though, making the things a bit easier.
